The last four finalists confirmed for the Scania Top Team World Final 2026

The final regional competitions for Scania Top Team 2026 have now been completed. Following intense and highly competitive regional finals in Asia – including teams from Africa, the Middle East and Oceania – four teams have secured their place at the upcoming world final.

The winning teams advancing to Södertälje, Sweden, are: China, Australia, United Arab Emirates and New Zealand.

 

Scania Top Team is an award-winning, competition-based training programme that strengthens competence, professionalism and teamwork in workshops across the globe. The competition runs over two years, beginning with theoretical rounds, followed by national selections and culminating in regional finals.

 

With all regional finals now concluded, the stage is set for the ultimate challenge. The qualified teams from around the world will meet at the Scania Top Team World Final in Södertälje, Sweden, 6–9 May 2026.

Meet the finalists from Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa:

China – The Rainbow Warriors

Members of the team: Jian Cao, Jianguo Shuai, Shangxie Shi, Quan Xu and Yangchun Zhuang.

Australia – Team Southern Cross Griffins

Members of the team: Chris Chilver, Danny Manak, Frank Jurinec, Kaelan Johnston and Bede Hutchinson.

United Arab Emirates – Team Digital Developers Dubai

Members of the team: Balaji Sundaram, Sridhar Thiyagarajan, Sameesh Putanpurayal, Justin Rajan and Vasanth Manikandan.

New Zealand – Team Maverick Mechanics

Members of the team: Tim Roome, Dave Van Schie, Michael Wakeford, Sam Hishon and Tony Pomeroy.

World Final 2026

For four days, 6–9 May 2026, 12 teams will gather in Södertälje to compete for the title “World’s Best Scania Service Team”.
