Technical requirements
Ensure you have the appropriate equipment to run the app. These are the minimum requirements necessary for the app to function properly.
- iPad Pro (2020): 11-inch or 12.9-inch model, both of which come with the A12Z Bionicchip.
- Display: The iPad Pro’s Liquid Retina display with a 120Hz refresh rate is ideal forhigh-fidelity, smooth visual performance.
- Note: The iPad Pro 2020 can handle many high-fidelity Unity applications effectively, butnewer models like the iPad Pro (M1, 2021) or iPad Pro (M2, 2022) offer additionalpower if you anticipate performance challenges.
- A12Z Bionic Chip: This 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU are optimized forhigh-performance tasks, providing excellent support for graphically intensive Unity applications
- 6 GB RAM (integrated in the iPad Pro 2020 model)
- Optimization Tip: Although the 6 GB RAM provides strong support, Unity applicationsshould be optimized to manage memory carefully, as iPads don’t allow user-controlledbackground processes.
- Storage Options: Available in 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.
- Recommendation: For high-fidelity Unity applications with large assets, 256 GB orhigher is recommended to accommodate models, textures, and audio files without fillingup too quickly
