These are the recommended Hardware Requirements for High-Fidelity Touchscreen Unity Application

  • Recommended: Intel Core i7 (10th generation or newer) / AMD Ryzen 7 (4000 series ornewer)
  • Minimum: Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer) / AMD Ryzen 5
  • Purpose: High-performance processors are essential for handling complex Unity assets, real-time rendering, and ensuring smooth interactions.

  • Recommended: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (or higher)
  • Minimum: NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD RX 580
  • Purpose: A powerful GPU is necessary for high-fidelity graphics, especially if your Unityapp includes detailed 3D models, visual effects, or post-processing. RTX series alsoenables ray tracing if your app utilizes this feature.

  • Recommended: 16 GB DDR4 (or higher)
  • Minimum: 8 GB DDR4
  • Purpose: Adequate RAM ensures smooth multitasking and faster loading times,particularly for applications that include high-resolution assets, animations, and frequentuser interactions.

  • Recommended: 512 GB SSD (NVMe for optimal performance)
  • Minimum: 256 GB SSD
  • Purpose: SSD storage significantly reduces loading times and improves data accessspeeds, which is especially beneficial in high-fidelity applications with large assets.

  • Resolution: 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) minimum; 4K resolution is recommended fordetailed visuals and high pixel density.
  • Size: 21 inches or larger, depending on the exhibit space and viewing distance.
  • Touch Technology: Capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch support (at least 10points).
  • Purpose: High-resolution and responsive multi-touch displays enhance user experience, providing precision and interactivity in Unity applications.

  • Recommended: Windows 10/11
  • Purpose: Windows 10 and 11 is commonly used for interactive touchscreen setups.

  • Network Connectivity: Stable Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection, particularly if theapplication includes real-time data streaming or cloud-based content.
  • Audio Output: Integrated speakers or an external audio system if the applicationinvolves sound effects or voice prompts.
  • Mounting: Sturdy mounting or casing to secure the touchscreen display, especially inpublic or high-traffic environments.
